mtc are looking to expand on the already existing Business Development Team by appointing a Business Development Executive. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Business Development / Sales and be forward thinking with their approach to securing new clients.
Generating business leads and following up on sales opportunities.
Cold calling potential customers and building relationships.
Managing incoming leads effectively.
Establishing customer needs and selling products accordingly.
Working to weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI’s.
Arranging meetings with clients and carrying out product demonstrations.
Following up swiftly on sales enquiries and sending out information.
Working closely with other teams to develop new business.
Researching the market and identifying potential target customers.
Attending industry events in order to generate business leads.
Your Background/will need:
Previous new business experience ideally from a company in the same or similar industry.
Proven track record of bring in new business and a natural ability to drive sales.
Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
Passion and knowledge of digital communications.
Exceptional written skills for reply to enquiries.
Willingness to spend 2-3 days a week in Dundee if based in Edinburgh.
Well organised with previous experience using CRM systems.
Please note this is a role that will require the successful person to be out meeting potential clients by traveling to see them.
