mtc. are proud to announce the completion of a redevelopment of the Hearts FC Official Online Store – Hearts Direct, which we launched back in May.
On Friday 16 June, Heart of Midlothian Football Club joined forces with another of our clients, Umbro, to launch the new 2017/18 kit. In the first weekend of the launch, the new online store handled over 800 orders of the new kit and training wear range in the first 3 days. This takes their online store to a level which befits the nature of the club and solidifies their position as the heart and soul of Edinburgh.
The new website is fully responsive, meaning it can be easily viewed on all types of devices, from large desktop screens to mobile phones and tablets.
Rory Patience, Commercial Team Lead at Heart of Midlothian FC, commented on the new site: “The team at mtc. were fantastic to work with, and really understood what we needed from our online store. Having a mobile optimised site was key, and with the new site we are now seeing sales from mobile devices surpass tablet and desktop sales combined.”
To celebrate the launch of this season’s kit, Alex McDonald (Projects Director), Andrew McGonigle (Online Marketing Consultant) and Ben Drew (Account Manager), were invited through to Edinburgh, where they were honoured to receive a very special version of the kit to thank the mtc team for their efforts throughout the project.
