Domain name disputes
MTC Media are experience in dealing with domain name disputes and have successfully negotiated the return of domains in a number of disputes. There are many cases where a third party may hold onto a domain name which is nothing to do with their company name. In many cases this does not cause a problem, however in some cases a third party may hold a domain name which infringes on your rights.
For example, a competitor may register a domain name using your company name or product name, this in many cases can be classed as an abuse of registration, and MTC Media have the know-how to ensure you are protected, and will follow the relevant procedures to acquire any such domain names.
MTC Media will firstly enter into an open dialogue with the domain name holder with a view to negotiate the release of the domain with little outlay for our client. If this is not achieved then MTC Media will follow the DRS Policy, submit all relevant documentation and present the case to the Domain Authority.
