World class eCommerce website designed to accelerate BrewDog’s incredible growth online and give their passionate customers an intuitive way to learn more about the beers, the company and its products.

BrewDog came to mtc. for a complete overhaul of their site, in line with their new brand and to take their eCommerce solution to the next level.

We delivered a world class solution on time and on budget within a very ambitious timescale while partnering with multiple of BrewDog’s third party providers.

Approach

Through collaboration with BrewDog we analysed their existing website to identify issues. We then provide tailored solutions for each section of the website delivering mockups page by page for client sign off.

Each section was also designed in such a way so that it could be managed easily by BrewDog but crucially with room to grow certain key sections such as their ever expanding portfolio of bars.

We worked closely with 3rd-parties to set up the required integrations for order fulfilment including a Courier Integration and an EPOS integration. API integration with their IOS App feeding updates into the website. 

All of this was delivered in a very ambitious timeframe with launch dates that could simply not be missed.

Pushing forward

We delivered return on investment within 3 months but since the website has launched we haven’t stood still!

We delivered an online Crowd-Funding purchase shares system with a sophisticated 3rd party integration to facilitate the biggest ever crowd funding campaign online, Equity for Punks IV which raised £19 million pounds and broke crowd-funding records along the way.

mtc also setup a full community experience on the BrewDog.com website which includes integrated discounts on the store, the ability to order your EFP ID card direct from the website, Free gifts sent to the Top Shareholders, referral schemes, Double Dog Discounts, a separate but integrated experience for the USA Shareholders and an API into the Online Community Equity for Punks Forum.

BottleBox is also an addition that mtc setup giving BrewDog a Beer subscriber Club for their Equity for Punks to enjoy via the website with discounts applied or for the general public to also sign up to enjoy their amazing beers shipped direct to their door each month including free Loyalty Gifts.

For mtc. to work with BrewDog was a dream come true. BrewDog are as passionate about Beer as we are about Web Development and bringing the two companies together was the perfect match.

We’ve been working extremely hard with the amazing Dundee based media company, mtc, to design and launch this stellar site.
