Wallace & Gromit Online Game

We have just completed the development of a new online flash game for Sensation Science Centre for the upcoming Animated Adventures exhibition featuring Wallace and Gromit.

The game involves helping Wallace and Gromit catch as many escaped rabbits as possible as they run down Dundee’s Riverside Drive causing mayhem. A number of Dundee landmarks are included in the game, such as The Law Hill, Michelin Wind Turbines, Sensation Science Centre and also the billboards which are currently dotted around the city promoting the exhibition.

The online game also features a top scores leaderboard, with a prize for the top score. So what are you waiting for? Give the game a go click here now.

CRC Tayside launches new website

Clinical Research Centre - Tayside today launched a new website promoting its state of the art research facilities to the general public, NHS and University researchers and to the UK Pharmaceutical, CRO and Biotechnology Industries.

The Clinical Research Centre (CRC) is a £13.5M state of the art facility opened in July 2008 to accommodate clinical trails and patient studies including advanced 3T MRI imaging and a PET/CT facility (opening autumn 2009) with an operating theatre suite interposed between the two. The CRC is also a hub facility for Tayside and Fife with satellite facilities to deliver clinical trials to patients including Perth Royal Infirmary, Paediatrics, Oncology, and links to community based studies. The facility is managed by a small team reporting to a joint University of Dundee and NHS Tayside Board and employs 18 staff, some of whom are seconded from the NHS.

Cameron Glen, Business Development Manager, says, "The new CRC Tayside website clearly demonstrates how fantastic the new research facilities are. It clearly shows the advantages for our researchers and industry partners in making use of the new facility and enhancing the quality of their research. The site also communicates to the public the importance of clinical research and how they can get involved."
